How Our Waitlist Works, and Why Getting On It Early Is Smart
Grace Haven has twenty private rooms. When they are full, they are full, and families who wait until the day they need a room are sometimes disappointed. The waitlist is how we handle that fairly.
Getting on the list
Call us or ask during your tour. We will take some basic information about your parent so that when a room opens we can reach you quickly. There is no fee to be on the list.
When a room opens
We contact families in order. If you are ready, you move in. If you are not quite ready, a deposit of $1,000 holds the room for up to 30 days. That gives you time to sell a house, finish a hospital stay, or simply get your parent used to the idea.
Why early is better
Families who join the list before a crisis get to choose their timing. Families who call in a crisis take whatever is available, anywhere. Being on our list costs nothing and commits you to nothing.
Respite as a bridge
If you need care before a long-term room opens, ask about overnight respite care at $200 a day, which we can offer when there is a short-term opening.
