Where We Are: Manton, Cadillac, and the Country Around Grace Haven
Grace Haven sits at 5191 N. 41 1/2 Road in Manton, Michigan, in Wexford County. One side of the property borders the Manton athletic complex; the other opens to fields and a line of trees. It is quiet, and from the dining room windows you can watch the seasons change.
Manton
Manton is a small town of a little over a thousand people, with a grocery store, a hardware, churches, a senior center, and Bostick's Drug Store, which fills our residents' prescriptions. Many of our residents lived in or around Manton for decades, and their neighbors can still drop by.
Cadillac
About twenty minutes south on US-131, Cadillac has Munson Healthcare Cadillac Hospital, specialists, shopping, and restaurants. Families coming from downstate usually come up US-131 through Cadillac and find us an easy last leg.
Traverse City
Under an hour northwest. Munson Medical Center in Traverse City is the regional hospital for anything beyond what Cadillac handles.
For families driving in
From Cadillac, take US-131 north to the Manton exits and follow the signs; we are a few minutes off the highway on 41 1/2 Road. From Traverse City, take US-131 south. Lodging is available in Cadillac for overnight visits.
