Fall Festival 2026: A Beautiful Day for a Party
What a beautiful day for a party. On October 11 we opened the doors for our Fall Festival, and the parking lot filled up with residents' children, grandchildren, neighbors, and friends.
The day
The front entrance was decked out in pumpkins, mums, and cornstalks. There was live music on the patio, and more than one resident got up to dance. Kids ran between the hay bales. There was food, there were photos, and there was a great deal of laughing.
Why we do it
A home is only a home if people come to it. Events like this give families a reason to drive up, give residents a chance to show off where they live, and give the community a look inside. One guest wrote afterward, "Thanks again, for a wonderful afternoon!!" That is the whole point.
See the photos
Forty-five photos from the festival are on our Facebook page. If you see your mom or grandpa in one, share it.
What's next
Our Halloween costume afternoon is Saturday, October 31, from 4 to 6 p.m. No tricks, just treats. Families welcome.
